A Wrinkle In Time is a science fiction plus fantacy novel written by Madeleine L'Engle. In the story Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin 'tesser' with the help of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which . Mr Murry, meg's father, had mysteriously disappeared on government business. Mrs. Murry is Meg's mother and an experimental biologist who works out of a lab in the Murry home. She is at once a brilliant scientist and a loving mother who cooks meals for her family on her Bunsen burner. Calvin O'Keefe enters the story in an enexpected way and then joins the journey to find Mr. Murry. Charles Wallace, meg's little brother, is a loving young boy who accepts Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who's offer to help find their missing father. Charles Wallace is special because he possesses special abilities that allow him to understand the thoughts and intentions of others. Together Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe and Meg go on a journey through time and space to find Mr. Murry. On their journey Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which leave the three children on a planet named Camazotz. Camazotz appears very peaceful and orderly at first, but it does not take long for Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin to sense that something is not right. Children bounce balls in unison, workers do their jobs like robots, and mothers all call their children home at the same time. Those who live on Camazotz do not own their own thoughts, they are controlled by one central brain known as IT. IT does not allow any deviations from the prescribed order. Those who attempt to do their own thing end up imprisoned, this is what happened with Mr. Murry. In the story Charles Wallace gets possesed by IT. And after Mr. Murry was rescued from the CENTRAL Central Intelligence building the possesed Charles Wallace takes the other Murry's and Calvin to IT. IT almost possesses the other Murry's and Calvin but Mr Murry tessers at the right time saving Calvin, Meg and himself from IT. But Charles Wallace is still left out on camazotz and in the climax of the book Meg decides to go back to Camazotz to save her little brother. I really loved reading the book.
