Dogs are said to be a man's best friend. Well I have no objection on that fact and to be honest dogs are very loyal(cause I have a dog). But I do have some cons too. When you buy a dog you have many responsibilities especially when they are quite young. You have to vaccine it every month until the 4th vaccine, the dog food expenses come around 2000-3000rs per month, when it is less than a 1 and a half months old you have to wake up at mid-night to give it food, it is going to pee 10-15 times when it is less than one and a half months old etc. But, don't get discouraged. Dogs protect their owner(*small sized dogs discluded), it is amazing to play with them and if you train your dog to fetch then it is much more amazing, your going to get healthier etc. If you ask me whether you should buy a dog or not I am going to say that if you are ready to bear the cons and if you think that the pros outweigh the cons then I would say sure go buy it! You should do some adequate research before you select a breed and I highly recommend not to buy the small sized breeds like shih tzu because they cannot walk that much and they are not so strong to play with and they do not protect you too. Until and unless you are willing to pay 2000-3000rs on a dog which is just good for petting. So, which particular dog breed do I recommend? I recommend to buy a labrador because they are very loyal, loving, and playful dogs. There is a rumour that labradors cannot protect you but I think that the myth is somewhat false because my labrador barks at any stranger who comes towards our house. At the same time I don't disobey the myth because labradors are friendly in nature and probably will not always protect you. As a conclusion, I would say that you have to do some research before buying a dog.
