DISADVANTAGES OF BEING OVERWEIGHT

Overweight can cause unnecessary health risks. A research done by Dr.Kitahara and her colleagues shows that extreme obesity can shorten lifespan by as much as 14 years. Many weighty people struggle to breathe. Excess fat restricts the expansion of the rib cage and leaves less space for the diaphragm to move downward as it should. In addition, the lungs provide extra storage places for some of the fat, and that reduces the exchange of oxygen. Some heavy folks huff and puff as they perform the simplest daily tasks. Others must sit down to rest after climbing short flights of stairs. Impaired breathing is one of many ways in which obesity affects life quality. People with alot of weight find it very difficult to walk. When you gain alot of weight your blood pressure (BP) increases and ths can cause the hardening of arteries of the arteries. Heart diseases are common if you have obesity, this is because extra fat puts pressure on the heart. When you are overweight you will start getting back pains regularly because the extra weight stresses the back. With increased weight, many people periodically have to deal with passing, breaking up or removing kidney or gall stones because their body manufactures stones. People with obesity also get into depression too. Obesity and lack of exercise cause type-2 diabetes. Once you get type-2 diabetes it starts getting worse, no matter what you do. When you are overweight diabetes is a near certainity. Today, roughly 30% of overweight people have the disease. Feet tend to break down as they strain under additional weight, and complications can develop. One result of obesity is that the arches collapse and the feet flatten. Such breakdowns often accompany diabetes, and if not treated properly, can lead to amputation. It is very important to keep our weight in check because once we have obesity a stream of diseases occur and your life quality becomes poor. If you do regular exerscise and keep your weight in check then you are going to lead a healthy and happy life.
